     Cindra, which means cheerful and friendly, embodies all of the Ups of life!  Cindra can be a little shy at times, but she Doesn't Give Up. She is learning about all the new sounds and movements in her foster home!  Cindra would like to keep checking off all the Ups in life, and needs your help to find her biggest Cheer Up with a forever family!  In the meantime she is going to Keep It Up in her new adventures in life!

 

 

     Cindra has settled in quite nicely in her foster home and her shyness has slowly started to dissipate. Cindra things are starting to look up! She currently lives with a female and male resident dog along with another female foster dog. Cindra turns into a ballerina when asked if she needs to go outside. She’s a tiny little dancer with some zip but then when we get back in the house it is all snuggles and licks. Cindra enjoys just hanging on the couch with the humans or laying on her dog bed chewing on a squeaky toy. She loves her soft blankets and once in a-while will try dragging them around.

 

 

     Cindra really likes her four-legged foster brother however some days she might be a little more than he can handle. He wants to sleep and she wants to play!  Cindra can redirected and distracted by a Nylabone or if a human is sitting on couch she will just go snuggle with them instead of playing.

     Cindra is potty trained and will let you know when she wants to go out. Cindra is great about going into her crate especially now that she knows that a stuffed kong is waiting for her. Cindra is also very treat motivated so if you are only leaving for a minute just ask her if she wants a cookie, she will watch you go get her cookie then run to her kennel.

​

 

     Cindra is working and learning her basic commands. She knows sit, look, wait for supper, wait to go outside. We are working on lay down command. Cindra isn’t a big fan for her gentle leader but is getting better with wearing it. Cindra doesn’t mind bath time. This girl is always happy to go for a car ride. She will jump in and lay down on the dog bed until they get to our destination. Occasionally she does like to pop her head up just to see where we are at.  She's on the lookout for her forever family - maybe it's you!
