When you picture Johnny Cash, do you picture a handsome guy with a smoldering look and wavy dark hair? ...Or maybe hypnotizing eyes on a freckled face? How about this cheerful little dog who greets both his people and his food dish with the same happy feet dance! Johnny Cash the dog is your dream companion who would go through a burning ring of fire to find the love of his life!

Johnny Cash is a funny little guy with a derpy face who usually has a little mlem tongue action. His foster home is probably the first house he's ever been welcomed into, and he shows his gratitude daily! His tail is thumping nonstop when he gets attention, which is his greatest joy in life! He really wishes you'll allow his face to be a few inches from your face, so he can exchange pets for soft kisses. Johnny picked up on house manners very quickly, and is now fully potty and crate trained. He's got sit, lay down, look, stay, and wait for food mastered. This brave boy is even getting the treadmill down pretty good!

Johnny Cash's discovery of toys was both precious and hilarious. This kid had no idea what to do with them when he first arrived, and now he proudly trots around with each new toy discovery and entertains himself. He doesn't play with people or his canine friends much (yet) but he does get along with everyone very well! When enjoying the company of people, Johnny prefers to get pets, praise, and the occasional snuggle. With dogs, he enjoys having a buddy around but doesn't really play. His foster sister is working hard to change that, and he is trying to chase her around the yard and enjoy short sessions of flirty wrestling. We all know Johnny Cash likes to impress the ladies!

Speaking of ladies, you're probably wondering where is his lovely wife, June Carter? She actually hitched a ride with him and is adjusting to rescue life in another foster home! These two lived on the same property and endured some rough years together, raised a little family (SEPR alumni Cooper!) and now get to enjoy the good life. They absolutely love spending time together, and their dream would be to find a nice home with room for both of them! They are such a perfect pair, you'll hardly notice there are two dogs in your home! Johnny gives June the confidence boost she needs to face new situations, and June gives Johnny the unmatched ease of chilling with his lifelong best friend. Kind of like when you're comfortable enough to be your entire self, and you can fart in front of your significant other. Johnny and June are not completely dependent on each other, however, so if their paths end up parting ways they will cope just fine.

Now that Johnny's "Fulsome prison blues" days are behind him, he can't wait to find his happy ever after!
