Watch out pumpkin spice fanatics there’s a new spice to obsess over, SEPR Nutmeg! A big beefy girl in a compact package, Nutmeg is taking the world by storm. After being dumped at a shelter, with signs of a recent C-section, SEPR scooped her up and promised her she would never be used as a breeding machine again.

     Nutmeg has been settling into her new foster home and is quick to catch on to the routine, she excitedly runs to her kennel every morning in preparation for her frozen kong when it’s time to go to work.  Mastering sit and wait at meal time almost instantly, she is one smart cookie.  Of course training time is a breeze, she is very food motivated, so expanding her ever growing list of commands is easy-peasy.  Nutmegs current list of commands includes: Sit, Wait, Down, Off, Back Up, Look, and working on Shake.
 
     After some proper introductions, because she is a proper lady, Nutmeg has settled in very nicely with her canine foster siblings.  She loves to play with her canine friends, although she can get very excited with her play and sometimes needs to be reminded to cool her jets.  Nutmeg is a little older than some of the youngin's in the program, so some good romps around the house with her canine friends and a good walk are just right for her.  

     If you are looking for snuggle buddy, then Nutmeg should be first on your list she has the perfect amount of snuggle without being too pushy with it. She would like to be as close to you on the couch as she can get, perfectly happy being a 68 lb. lap dog. But if you do not desire 68 lbs. on your lap, she will gladly go sit in her favorite chair by the window and lounge until bedtime.  When it’s time for bed, she knows where her spot to sleep is and will run to it waiting for you to hook the tie down.
