Trooper! That's my name, don't wear it out! Not Storm Trooper. I have way better aim than those extras and better fashion sense as well. State Trooper? Nah, stiff and by the book is not really my style, but I do look good in uniform.

     Who and what I am is Trooper - someone who is strong, dependable, reliable and uncomplaining. Ok, so I complain a little when I'm bored. But who wouldn't? I'm young, I have things to learn and things to prove, places to go and things to do. Wanna join me? I absolutely love to play with my soccer ball and rope toys in the back yard and have been learning that letting my human friends join in the game just makes it that much more fun! I mean, have you heard of a game called 'Fetch'? It's amazing!! And in the house I have a kitty friend I play with a LOT. She's great and even is exactly the same color as I am! We play hide and seek, we wrestle, we have races...and occasionally we do take naps together. Foster mom says we must have been twins in another life as we were made for each other. I'm not sure what 'twins' are but if they're fun then sure! Back at the shelter I had fun playing with other dogs in the play yards. My current foster sister isn't quite as appreciative of my exuberant personality though. Her loss!

     Hmm, other things about me. I'm a big kid. Tall, ruggedly handsome, and super smart if I do say so myself! I look like a total stud strutting my stuff on walks. Foster mom even agrees that it's amazing how good my leash manners are considering how ostentatious I can be. No idea what she means by that, but keep the compliments coming, lady! I'm working on acquiring more tricks and polishing up my manners every day. And guess what?!?  Foster Mom took me for this thing called a Canine Good Citizen test, and we passed together!  I may be a young guy, but I already have some letters behind my name.  Fancy!!

     My puppy dog eyes and cuddle skills are already at level 10 but I'm pretty sure I can push those to level 15 with just a little practice. Kennel time is no big deal to me. Just another part of the day and figuring out the schedule of the house to be able to predict where I should be before I'm needed there is my personal trick. I'm going to call it 'clairvoyance'. Yeah, I got super powers!!

     Enough about me, I know I'm totally awesome, even with the rough spots foster mom keeps telling me to work on (patience, lady!). I really could go on and on about myself all day long - literally! But, like I said before, I'm figuring out that human friends can be pretty handy in making me look even better and making life more FUN...and foster mom is kinda boring (don't tell her I said that!). But, grown-ups only, please - I wouldn't want to accidentally take out any little, young humans with the intensity of my greatness.
