Beau is mastering his impulse control, impressively waiting to come out of his kennel and be the first to go through doors. His biggest triumph so far? Learning to wait patiently for his food – and he’s progressing every day!

As a spirited young pup in an adult body, Beau is enthusiastic and eager to learn. He’s refining his manners—including keeping four feet on the floor and staying calm when meeting new people. He’d thrive in an active home that enjoys daily adventures and mental challenges to help him channel his youthful energy.

A true star in the foster world, Beau keeps his space clean and knows how to settle down after playtime. He’s made tremendous strides in his house training, quickly running to the door when it’s time for a bathroom break. Beau’s favorite activity? Dashing around the yard with his toys, bringing heaps of joy to everyone nearby.

Bath time is one of Beau’s favorite activities! With a little encouragement, he happily hops into the tub, especially when he gets to enjoy a lick mat during his pampering session. Although he can be a bit wiggly during nail trims, he’s learning that they can be fun with tasty treats.

​

Having attended training classes with Big Paws Foundation alongside other puppies, Beau’s trainer believes he’s a star pupil with incredible potential. With an adopter ready to invest time and guidance, Beau is sure to shine!

His daily routine is filled with morning play sessions and cozy evenings. Whether he's shredding cardboard boxes or enjoying outdoor fun, he keeps the energy high and the smiles wide. Quick on his paws, Beau walks well on a leash—though he’s still getting used to the gentle leader.

​

Beau grew up with other dogs and thrives on the company of his furry friends. He has made wonderful pals at Dog Days Day Camp and enjoys playful sessions with a female dog in his foster home. Curious and friendly, he might even coexist with feline friends with the right management!

​

Smart and eager to learn, Beau has started mastering fun commands like "leave it," "sit," and "down," making him an ideal companion for an active family ready to continue his training journey.
