about BOGART
"Here's looking at you kid" Welcome Bogart to SEPR!
This Georgian gentleman is just as suave and debonair as Humphrey Bogart himself. He is the epitome of the term "Lover Boy"! This panda-eyed boy loves everyone, and I mean EVERYONE he meets. Dogs, cats, kittens, children big and small are best of friends with Bogart. Even the rabbits in the yard can rest easy when he is near. Though this honorable man loves all creatures, there's nothing Bogart would rather do than snuggle and take time to please his favorite humans. (Any human is his favorite!)
Bogart's etiquette and cleanliness is just as commendable! Bogart has kept his crate to the cleanest standards befitting the gentlemen he is!! He's a natural on his leash and loves treats as a part of his training to refine his gentlemanly skills. He as mastered sit, look, lay, and stay. He is very courteous and waits before eating and exiting his kennel when asked. He is working hard on how to quietly relax in his kennel, and how to perform a proper handshake.
Pool parties are the best in Bogart's world! Fill up a pool with water, bones, and toys, and he will play all day diving under the water to find them and bring them out to you one-by-one. It is quite the show!
Bogart the social butterfly loves to go everywhere with his family! He's ready to be by your side at stones, events, patios at restaurants, you name it! His manners are top-notch! He's happy to give love to everyone he meets or if you'd rather he will lay by your feet and take a nap. He's so charming, he will serenade you with some light snoring while you eat.
If you are searching for a gentle Southern boy to look lovingly into your eyes and be fully devoted to you and your family, look no further, Bogart is your man!
** Medical Note **
Unfortunately Bogart, he caught a very new blood born disease called candidatus mycoplasma haematparvum. This is a blood disease that is transmitted either by ticks or thru the blood of a deep puncture wound. We have successfully treated two cases of this disease previously with the help of the University of North Carolina (a leader in canine blood disease) in conjunction with our local vet, Dr. Rentschler at the Tea Vet Clinic. We have high hopes that Bogart can be cured of this disease like our other SEPR dogs.
