about cherry bomb
The last showstopper of the Independence Day Litter: meet Cherry Bomb! This little firecracker is ready to light up your life.
At 6 months old this puppy is full of spunk and energy. She's a social butterfly and loves to explore! A DNA test revealed she is primarily an American Pit Bull Terrier, but she also has small amounts of Mastiff and Bullmastiff in her genetics. She was the largest of the litter so we anticipate she will be a large adult. She has big feet to fill- literally!
Cherry loves your typical puppy things: playing, chewing on bones, and taking frequent re-energizing cat naps throughout the day. She has really learned the value of a good snuggle on the couch with her humans! Early in the mornings after a potty break she likes to wake up slowly with some snuggles. She is definitely a velcro puppy. She loves running up and down stairs with a squeaky toy and sliding down the stairs on her belly once she gets tired. Anything water related is up her alley too, and you will find her in the bathtub a few times a day. She loves drinking water straight from the tub faucet or hose during warmer months! She will keep you laughing all day long with her silly antics.
Cherry is a quick learner and already has sit, lay down, leave it, and look mastered. She will sit and stay for her food until she is given the go ahead to eat. Having impulse control is difficult for puppies, but she is constantly impressing with her advanced obedience. She is fully crate trained and working hard at mastering potty training 100%. We've been battling an ongoing UTI so once that clears up we expect any accidents to leave with it.
Cherry Bomb lives with 2 adult dogs in her foster home. She loves their company and is a typical puppy learning proper manners. She doesn't care to share high value food or toys sometimes, she'd prefer to have it all to herself! She is attached at the hip to her foster brother though and will pal around with him all day long. We think she'd love a home with a mellow male canine. She would be content as the only apple of your eye too! She's gentle with her foster family's chickens and has spent time around cats with no issues as well.
If you're up for the task of raising, training, and socializing a sweet little pup don't pass this girl up! She lives life fast and furiously and she's ready to take the world by storm with the perfect guardian by her side.
