If you want a little spice in your life, then meet SEPR Cinnamon! This sweet senior just underwent double ACL knee surgery, and even that could not dull down her loving personality. Cinnamon is getting settled into her foster family, and we are sure she will be an easy match for just about any lifestyle or adopter. This is sure to be a one-in-a-million flavor type girl!

 

What is age but a number? Cinnamon might be on the older side of our adults, but don’t let that fool you. At around seven years old, she is just as spunky and ready to go as any dog. Cinnamon has settled in nicely to the daily routine and loves to go for walks after receiving the vet's all-clear on her double knee surgery. Now that she is cleared for regular activity, she will be so excited to go for longer walks and, hopefully, more adventures. While Cinnamon likes to be active, she is at that beautiful age where she easily sleeps the day away when it’s time.

 

Cinnamon knows most of her commands, such as sit, wait, down, and look and is eager to please you for whatever treat you have. She enjoys going for car rides and watching the world go by as you drive down the road. Her favorite thing is to chill and chew her bones. She does excellent with trade and drop it when it’s time to clean up and put away the bones. Once Cinnamon got settled in, she did great for her bath and didn’t mind having her nails clipped too much. Just give her a lick mat with some peanut butter, and she occupies herself. Cinnamon takes time to warm up to you, and those evening cuddles usually prefer sitting on the opposite couch. However, over the last few weeks, she had decided to share the couch with her foster mom and her foster dog, Spirit, isn’t so bad after all.

 

​During the day, Cinnamon is kenneled and enjoys her kong and bone. She has kept her kennel clean for a typical workday and stays quiet until she hears her foster mom is home. Then she’s so excited, she has to let you know she’s waiting for you. While Cinnamon was recovering from surgery, she was kenneled at night and then graduated to sleeping on her tie down.
