Oh my darling Clementine! This charming lady is full of love, loyalty, and sunshine, and has been patiently waiting over two years for her forever family. Clementine has a heart as big as her snuggle game, and believes life is best lived curled up beside her favorite people. Cozy couch time, gentle kisses, and daily doses of affection? Now a wonderfully balanced senior, Clementine has settled into a calm, content lifestyle. She still enjoys a good “train and drain” session, a walk, some enrichment, fetch in moderation, or practicing tricks, but she’s equally happy stretching out on the sofa and soaking up love. She’s mellow, sweet, and just the right mix of spunky and snuggly.

Clementine came to SEPR with fantastic manners and continues to shine. She is fully potty trained, quiet in her crate, walks well on leash, and doesn’t chew things that aren’t hers. She’s incredibly smart and loves to show off: sit, down, stay/wait, place, touch, leave it, up/off, sit pretty, scratch-board nails, and even some funny party tricks like “troll” and her football routine (down, set, hut!).

Fetch will forever be her favorite game, though she plays a little more responsibly these days. Clementine underwent ACL surgery in 2025 and has recovered beautifully. On days when her legs feel a little stiff, she takes anti-inflammatories as needed and then happily resumes her role as snuggle champion and professional couch cuddler.

​

Clementine lives with two dog friends in foster and enjoys their companionship. She respects their boundaries, entertains herself politely if they don’t feel like playing, and keeps interactions polite out and about. Cats, however, are not her preferred roommates, so a feline-free home is best.

​

This girl has a confident, classic terrier personality and appreciates structure and routine. She thrives with someone who enjoys working with smart dogs and values communication, guidance, and teamwork. With fair leadership and love, Clementine blossoms, and in return, she’ll help you become an even better dog handler. Win-win.
