Diamond’s may be a girl’s best friend, but SEPR  Diamond wants to be everybody’s best friend! This girl is a true gem, and definitely has a name befitting the princess that she is!

 

When selecting your perfect Diamond, it is, of course, important to consider the four C’s of diamonds.

 

Cut- This girl is solid as a rock! She’s got a rock solid personality to match that bod, as well! Diamond is happy and enthusiastic about life! She is especially enthusiastic about her people. She loves her people without question or reserve, and will make you feel her unwavering love every time you walk into the same room as her. She is solid with other dogs, as well. With slow introductions, and understanding expectations, she definitely could live very happily with other pets. Currently, Diamond lives with five other dogs. She has a canine bestie, but does well with the other dogs in the home, both big and small. Diamond also lives with two teenagers and does well with all members of the family. Since she doesn’t always know her size though, her foster family feels like she probably would not be a good match for a family with younger kids though.

 

Clarity- They don’t come much more pure than SEPR Diamond! Diamond is pure joy, enthusiasm, and love! You can’t help but get a big smile on your face around this big girl! She will love you to pieces and give you endless kisses if you let her! Diamond would enjoy a home where she could get belly scratches, snuggle up close to her people and go for lots of car rides. Diamond loves car rides and is an excellent travel buddy! Although Diamond’s favorite thing to do is anything that involves being with her people, she is content on her own for a bit too. She definitely has no trouble squeezing naps into her day and doesn’t mind parking herself on the couch or in her kennel when her people are busy.

 

Color- The gorgeous coloring on this true beauty is unmatched. Her coat is now shiny and free of itchy redness. When Diamond first arrived into rescue, it was clear that she had some unresolved allergies. After a food change to a grain free food and the addition of some Apoquel, her allergies are now managed and she is feeling spunky and refreshed. Diamond will need to continue on Apoquel and a grain free diet in her new home so she can continue to be the healthy girl she always wanted to be. She is also an excellent walking partner and loves to get out for leisurely strolls.

 

Carats- Carats, or in SEPR Diamond’s case, carrots, are essential! Diamond loves carrots! Believe it or not, they are her favorite snack and she likes to enjoy them with her kibble at meal time as well. In addition to being enthusiastic, fun, a great snuggler, and a perfect driving companion, I guess you can say that this girl is also a health nut! After enjoying her carrots, Diamond gets so excited that she may even get the zoomies and has been known to go a little crazy with a squeaky toy now and then, too. Diamond is very food motivated and smart and can learn anything for a treat. She has been a model student in her foster home!
