New to our program we named this little girl Francine. Francine is Latin for Free One. Her name is also related to St Francis of Assisi who is a patron saint for healing animals and love of nature. She is feeling free after several months in a lonely shelter kennel. She was a stray that is just beginning to find a solid footing and learning to feel safe.  In her short time in foster care she is resting up from her spay and feeling better after she has received care for painful crystals in her bladder.

As time unfolds we know this beautiful delight will continue to heal and blossom.
