Ghost is a 10–12 week old puppy who came to Sioux Empire Pit Rescue from the reservation after losing her family, and despite everything she’s been through, she is an incredibly happy, confident, and social little girl. She wants to be part of everything you’re doing and brings an easy, joyful energy wherever she goes.

 

Ghost is deaf, but that does not slow her down. She is naturally observant, watches closely, and is already learning how to navigate the world through visual cues and touch. She connects deeply with her people and looks to them for guidance, making her both engaging and rewarding to work with.

Like any young puppy, Ghost will need structure, consistency, and continued training as she grows. Her future family should be committed to helping her build communication skills specific to deaf dogs while providing a safe and supportive environment where she can continue to thrive.

Ghost is not limited, she simply experiences the world differently. With the right guidance, she will grow into an incredibly connected and well-rounded companion. If you are looking for a happy, confident puppy who will truly bond with her people, Ghost is ready to find her home.

 

Reminder: puppies are like new born babies! A LOT of work and even when “raised right” we give no guarantees to who their individual personalities will develop into as adults. We are looking for families who clearly understand this and willing to “wow” us with their canine leadership and knowledge. Love will need to be guaranteed for LIFE, not just when they are small, cute, and cuddly.

**Families with children 5 years of age and under wanting to adopt puppies will be reviewed on a

case-by-case basis. Raising a puppy properly takes a lot of time, and we understand that in families with small children, time can be a limited commodity.
