Like the old hotel with a new twist remodel, we just cannot get enough of The Golden Nugget!!!

 

Golden Nugget’s foster family is enjoying all the wonder encompassed in his petite lil body. “Nugget” (as he is affectionately referred to) is quiet and shy at first, but he is blossoming in his foster home. With a healthy dose of love and comfort, this diamond in the rough is learning to navigate life and take a gamble on trust. Soon Nugget will be ready to place his bets and go all in for his forever family. We cannot wait to see him shine!

 

During his first month in his foster home, Golden Nugget had a whole new world before him. He learned how to be brave with stairs, quickly learned how to do a "sit, look" and that he gets a treat when he listens! He had some help and confidence boost from his friends! Nugget integrated and bonded with his foster sister, two foster brothers. Golden Nugget also loves it when Foster Grandpa and his Great Dane Kernal come to visit!

 

People have been the biggest adventure for Golden Nugget. You see, Golden Nugget doesn't just place his bet on the table with people, he has to study them and decide if they are worth the gamble or not. Golden Nugget learned what having a Foster Mom and Foster Dad means. He quickly bonded with Foster Mom, but his bond with Foster Dad is coming along, just taking it's time to build. Golden Nugget has definitely felt the burn of placing the bet on the wrong card and losing and is now shy on placing the bet. Once he starts to let his guard down and slowly flip over a card, he is simply the best of the best!

 

Don't let his compact size fool you! He has one of the best happy go lucky personalities there is! He loves to go for car rides and sits up and looks out the window. He loves to go for puppicinos and turn on his first class charm for the gals in drive through. One of Golden Nugget's biggest accomplishments thus far in his foster home is learning it's ok to snuggle. He absolutely loves to snuggle up with a foster sibling for an afternoon snooze or at bed time with his Foster Mom.

 

Who ever Golden Nugget places his bet on for his forever family, are going to be the ones that hit the jackpot with this little nugget!
