Meet Gravy, the canine connoisseur of fun! This fluffy dynamo isn’t just keen on play – he’s the 'top dog' in the toy department, especially when it comes to soft, fluffy ones. With an appetite for adventure and a side of snuggles, Gravy’s mastering his commands faster than a microwave heats up leftovers.

 

Gravy now knows sit, lay down, wait, okay, kennel, no, and is working on a heel command. Gravy's kennel isn't his favorite place to be, but if you have the right treat, he will enthusiastically run to his kennel and wait for his snack. He has only had a couple of accidents in the house very early on, to be expected when he has been in a shelter for almost a year! Lately he has had no accidents.

 

Gravy is doing very well on his gentle leader training, especially when he is on a distracting walk. We also do weighted backpack walks with him to really get his energy out. Bath time is not his favorite, but he won't fight you on it. He will just look at you with those big brown puppy dog eyes and make you wonder if he was really that dirty? Surely we can stop this torture? Car rides are his favorite. Every morning he runs to the garage door and looks at his foster mom expectantly. He loves to jump in the trunk and sometimes will not wait for the tailgate to be completely open.

Social and curious, Gravy's a real 'mixing bowl' of friendliness. He’s eager to make friends with both people and fellow pooches, and those mysterious cats have him wagging his tail in intrigue. He would do well in a house with other dogs, cats, or by himself. He sees no difference between the tall humans (adults) or the small humans (children) except that the small ones seem to be the perfect height for kisses.
