From the "land of sweets," meet SEPR's Gumdrop!  With just the right amount of sugar and spices this young little lady cannot get much sweeter. Gumdrop landed herself in the middle of a very busy shelter after it was clear someone butchered her ears. Gumdrop holds no grudges and with a personality as smooth as maple syrup we just could not say no to this young one. She is sure to hit someone's sweet tooth and land a phenomenal family in no time flat!

 

     She is a young girl with plenty of energy to spare. While she is always ready for some fun, she is also happy to toss toys to herself in the house or lay in her spot and chew on a bone. If you have a dog at home that is looking for a friend, Gumdrop would be happy to have a playmate and will happily play for hours on end!

     She is happy to go in her kennel for some peanut butter in her bone and is doing a great job of keeping her kennel clean. She is learning that having a spot to relax on in the house isn’t quite so bad. She is a smart girl and would love someone who can keep her entertained and continue to teach her new things.

 

     When it is time to go for a walk, Gumdrop is a dream at the end of a leash. She can even keep her cool when there are rabbits running around nearby! She has learned to sit before going outside and is getting used to wearing her gentle-leader. She is still working on learning manners but has already come a long way for a young dog that spent the last 8+ months in a shelter. She can be nervous around new things but is also very brave and ready to cautiously investigate. With some sweet treats and encouragement from her people, she is sure to overcome any worry that comes her way.
