Golden eyed golden boy from the South! This big boy barreled his way into his foster home and has been nothing but a bundle of energy and comedy since! Hawkeye can often be found chillaxing in his pool, sleeping in wacky positions, or doing general Good Boi stuff!

 

He is just about the most eager and happy boy that ever was! He has mastered walking on a leash in just a few trips around the block, and boy oh boy does he love to play with foster siblings! This big manatee is also a pro at sit, wait, look, and lay. Toys aren’t really his thing, but he appreciates an assortment of Nylabones to choose from and a big meaty marrow bone is always exciting. He is sure to pierce the heart of just the right folks with his hawkish marksmanship! 

 

Hawk is a laid back dude with a few scaredy cat moments. Some times new stuff is scary, but after he keeps at it soon realizes it’s not scary at all! And like any perfect canine companion, he is eager to please his humans. He's very social and has a super fancy dog show walk that he busts out for attention, and people always squeal with delight when they see it! Hawk is great on pack walks with lots of foster pups and bike trail commotion! He loves dogs and action!

 

One of the struggles he's faced has been tummy trouble. SEPR worked hard to figure out what was going on, and after exploratory surgery we have figured out that Hawkeye has a form of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBD). It is related directly to food allergies, so we have tried some different foods, and are having good luck on Spot Farm dehydrated dog food chicken flavor. He has been feeling better, and SEPR will continue to monitor his poops (do what you gotta do!) and adjust as needed to ensure he is in perfect working order! 

 

Hawkeye is a true golden boy... the kind of dog that draws you in with his striking looks, and melts you with his dreamy heart! He truly deserves the best home in the world, so if you think you're a great match we can't wait to hear from you!
