Puppies!!!

 

Meet "The Independence Day" pups! This family of 9, including a very young mother was found in rural Missouri fending for themselves in a wooden dog house. Temperatures can be brutal, wildlife and humans unpredictable, and life can be dangerous for puppies. Luckily, a good Samaritan that was volunteering on a dog transport was able to scoop up this family and find a temporary safe haven while sending pleas to rescue’s who may have availability and room to help. SEPR is always full, but we knew this family needed us and could not say no! They will be arriving Saturday, July 24th 2021.

 

For a small non-profit like SEPR this means at least $300 per dog. We received great news that the family that has been temporarily holding them is adopting mom and Tuxedo 🤩 That means 7 pups will be heading our way. If everyone continues to stay healthy and happy $2,100+ will be given to our amazing doctors and nurses at the Tea Vet Clinic! Soon thereafter, they will be off to amazing foster and forever families.

*** SEPR is currently accepting applications - we will be looking for the very best applicants to match with each puppy. Pups will be available for adoption after their vetting has been completed around the weekend of August 7th. ***

**Families with children 5 years of age and under wanting to adopt puppies will be reviewed on a

case-by-case basis. Raising a puppy properly takes a lot of time, and we understand that in families with small children, time can be a limited commodity.
