Indiana Bones has officially left his shelter days in the dust and is ready for the adventure of a lifetime... to find his very own perfect family! This crazy kid does everything at 100mph, and due to his goofy back legs, he kinda looks like a drunken Captain Jack Sparrow as he does it. But, shhh, don't tell him! He has no idea that there's anything wrong back there, and is absolutely the most joyous pup you'll ever meet. Indie's bouncy personality far outshines his limp, and he is easily keeping up with all the excitement of foster life.

 

This dude acts like a hyper puppy one minute, then is a polished gentleman the next. It didn't take him long to settle into his foster house, and now we can expect his potty training and overall manners to be top notch. He is working hard on several different training goals, and is a quick study! He has learned sit, lay, come, touch, leave it, and heel. We are also working hard to get him more comfortable in his kennel. The poor guy just has severe FOMO, and is so sad (for about 15 minutes :P) that he has to spend time in his kennel. Pairing some positive crate games reinforcement training and anxiety meds we are sure he will feel right at home soon in his cozy cave!

 

Indiana is such a pleasure to be around. His happiness is contagious, and he's always down to either play or snuggle. It doesn't take too long to wear him out, he loves to chase his flirt pole or romp around with stuffed toys. Once you're ready to settle down, he will either entertain himself with a chew or snuggle right in with you. If you're taking your adventures out of the house, he'd love to join!! He is a great passenger and quite gentlemanly to everyone he meets. He's never met a 2-legged that he didn't like! Indie also gets along fabulously with his canine foster siblings, although he can be a little reactive to strange dogs if they're too close. We aren't yet sure how he would do with cats, but he ignored the resident bunny!

 

Indie is really hoping to find a family that will treat him like the special baby he is. He would love to be involved with all of your activities, and promises to work hard to impress you daily. He'll make friends with all of your friends, finish your plate when you get too full, and will remove all that pesky stuffing from plush toys for you! What a guy, right!?
