​Lars is a giant baby in the best possible way! Sweet, playful, and endlessly loyal, this big beautiful boy is ready to find the forever family he’s always deserved.

 

Fully potty trained and a dream on leash, Lars is also crate-trained and knows his basic commands, he is such a fast learner! He’s working hard on his manners and continues to grow into the wonderful dog we know he’s meant to be.

 

Lars loves being with his people. Whether you're out for a walk or just hanging around the house, he’ll be your loyal shadow, happy just to be near you. Lars’ other big love is his stuffies! He is goofy and playful with his stuffed animals but has yet to de-fluff or remove the squeakers! For a 90lb boy to toss and chase a stuffed animal so relentlessly but not damage it, well… if you’ve had a big dog before you already know… this is hilarious and unique!

 

Lars lives happily with two senior, medium sized, foster sisters. His only complaint is they are too old to want to play with him! He is a big goofball when he tries to get them riled up and will throw a paw around from time to time, as to say “hey, hey, are you paying attention, let’s go!” He would do well with a medium or large furry playmate. We believe he would do best in a home with larger animals, as he does think chasing is a blast and whether it purely trampling or at worst actually catching something, small fluffy creatures are unfortunately too hard to resist.

 

Lars has lived part time with a 5yr old human, and although it took some time and some constant reminding to be gentle from both parties, he absolutely adores her. He would love a child to bond with! 

 

His heart is as big as his paws, and he's more than ready to give it fully to someone who won’t give up on him. He can come off aloof occasionally, but we promise he is anything but! Once he knows you are safe and kind, he is the epitome of a Velcro dog. He loves his people and is the ABSOLUTE BEST CUDDLER!!

 

Lars is ready for someone to take a chance on him. For someone to give him the loyalty that he gives so fully. We know he’ll make an amazing companion for anyone who can give him the love and stability he’s always needed.
