Layla is a tiny senior that is a true sweetheart from the south that could bring any grown man to his knees.  With a rough life, this little lady is overdue for some rest and relaxation. Layla is settling in to her new foster home, and is learning what it means to live the good life!  She is still a little shy but with the help of her foster four legged brother and sister she is slowly coming out of her shell. Layla has absolutely one thing figured out already...naps are awesome!

Layla is an easy going girl, she likes to take things slow just like any southern girl would.  She takes a little bit of time to warm up to new people, but she is working on her social skills and learning to be more outgoing in the SEPR "Train-a-bull" classes. Layla has settled in nicely to her routine with foster dad, and starting to branch out and try new things.

 

Layla is very good at going to the bathroom outside and is quickly catching on to crate training. She goes right in her kennel at bedtime and while foster dad is busy at work with a wonderful warm blanket and amazing fun filled kong. Layla is great on a leash, but enjoys a nice meandering walk vs a high intense work out. Her favorite past time in the sun is chewing on a bone. She does excellent with bath time - being a southern belle takes patience which she has plenty of. Also, Layla is awesome at riding shotgun or snoozing in the back during car rides.

Layla is enjoying this foster home thing, there's soft dog beds to lay on, but her favorite thing to do is sit and cuddle with her canine friends. She really relies on her four legged friends to help her feel more comfortable and they are teaching her to be more confident. Layla will always be on the shy side, but once she opens up her cute little tail never stops wagging.

Layla is just looking for a quiet home with some canine friends she can retire with.
