about Lincoln

     Sweet, snuggly, mellow... This little boy is far from your average hyper puppy! Lincoln is the new kid on the block and he's loving the rescue life.

     Lincoln is extremely food motivated and is always ready for meal time or a training session. He will sit and wait patiently for the 'ok' to eat his meals. He has sit mastered and is working daily on a whole bag of tricks!

     He enjoys leisurely walks followed up with a good nap. Snuggled up on a lap is his favorite place to be. This boy lives to cuddle!! He buries his head in your arm, gives a few kisses, and promptly falls asleep on his back. He may accidentally bop you in the face a few times with his feet while he gets comfortable, but he's sure to apologize with kisses and tail wags. Speaking of tail wags, Lincoln has the cutest one ever! When he gets excited his tail wags in a circle like an adorable little propeller.

     Lincoln's full of love and beginning to open up to his foster family. He's enjoying the company of his two canine foster siblings and following their confidant lead. There are also some chickens at his foster home and he thinks they're pretty fun! He likes calmly grazing with them, but occasionally the puppy itch makes him want to play tag with his feathered friends. They aren't as into that game as he is, but a small correction reminds him to settle down. 

     There are many new things for a puppy to learn, and Lincoln would love a family that wants to continue showing him how fun the world can be!

**Families with children 4 years of age and under wanting to adopt puppies will be reviewed on a

case-by-case basis. Raising a puppy properly takes a lot of time, and we understand that in families with small children time can be a limited commodity.
