     Well we think Meryl Streep is beautiful so therefore named this spunky little girl after her.  Ms. Streep is known as a very versatile actress and just like her namesake, Meryl Streep is settling in nicely into a routine in her foster home.  She loves to cuddle on the couch and is learning if she sits nicely she will be petted instead of pawing for attention.  Meryl is learning how to sit and wait for the best things in life like getting on the couch.  She does well with sitting and waiting to go outside and play.  Using hand signals has helped with this. 

     When outside in the yard Meryl likes exploring and learning what life is all about! While the kennel is not her favorite place, with some hot dog treats she makes her way upstairs to the kennel for her peanut butter kong.  Meryl doesn’t mind her gentle leader too much and is learning better leash manners to walk nicely next to foster mom.  She is doing well with being on tie down in the same room with her foster brother and sister and minds her own business in the yard with them while on leash.  In time, she’ll get to have more free roam with them.  Mama Mia, Here I go again!

     My my, how can I resist you?  Meryl Streep is loving life and would like to learn more with her forever family.
