Montana has definitely arrived with some swagger and pizzazz! Is there such a thing, as too happy of a dog? Remember, Montana recently arrived from a small rural shelter in Missouri who felt like he was too big to control. Fast forward, we have found ourselves a walking living teddy bear, who actually has been a dreamboat.

Montana hasn’t met a creature who isn't BFF material! He is a big boy at 80 pounds, but he's a gentle giant. This isn't the kind of dog who's going to bowl over all of your friends, he mostly keeps his shenanigans to himself.  Occasionally you have to dodge him as he zooms by, but he has doesn't parkour off of you. You can usually find him prancing around the house with a stuffed toy in his mouth and his butt in full wiggle mode.  

Looks and charm aside, this kid has the brains to match! He has learned to wait patiently for his food, go in his kennel without complaint, walk very nicely on a leash, and remain calm around chaos. You can take him just about anywhere and he will be a shining breed ambassador! At home care is super easy, as well. He calmly steps in the tub for a bath, offers his paw for a nail trim, and waits for you to clean his ears. In the backyard he might run a couple laps to get his zoomies out before finding a nice sun spot to lounge. 

Overall, other than being fairly vocal, "Monty Tanner" (as foster mom calls him) is truly a gem! We feel that he would fit in nicely with most families. Now we just have to find the match that will let him shine to his full potential!
