Let us introduce you to this beautiful girl, Olive. Like so many dogs displaced due to no fault of their own, Olive has found herself homeless after her previous owner decided a new baby on the way meant the dog had to go. That is something we cannot rationalize regarding a girl this fantastic. Euthanasia words were whispered and luckily for Olive, a foster home stepped forward to save her from certain death.

 

While Olive might be homeless, her loving personality and carefree spirit have remained. We are sure she misses her people, but we are here to pick up the pieces and mend her broken heart. Olive is a low-key girl who enjoys surveying her acreage, chasing her tennis balls, leisurely walks, and a good cuddle session wrapped up in blankets for movie time.

 

Perfectly house-trained, this girl is also an angel, just sleeping away the afternoon in a room alone. She isn't as convinced she loves her kennel, but she settles in with a good veggie-filled kong. Olive is extremely intelligent and arrived already knowing a bag of commands and then some! Sit, lay down, wait/stay, roll over, how to play dead, and shake with both paws, to name a few. A people pleaser from small to big, spend some time working with this girl; she can achieve anything.

 

Olive can be a bit bossy with other canines, but a friendly, laid-back male who respects her limits with good management and structure in a home would be fine. She enjoys outings, adventures, camping, the lake, and a good car ride with her humans. Bath time is a breeze, especially when peanut butter liki mats are included.

 

You can find Olive basking in the sun in her spare time, enjoying her peace. This girl truly enjoys a slower, more laid-back lifestyle, so if you're searching for that perfect "chill" partner, this girl will melt your heart in a moment. We know her best life is yet to come, and we have promised her next family will love her unconditionally no matter what.
