Pumpkin spice and everything nice! She isn't just perfect for fall but perfect all year round! Surrendered by her previous owner for financial reasons, Pumpkin has made it to South Dakota in hopes of finding her forever home. She has been settling in and showing her foster family her quirky side more every day.

 

Pumpkin may be a senior, but she does not act like one. She has a lot of spunk and energy. She was treated for heartworm and breezed through her injections like nothing happened. Pumpkin also recently had dental surgery, 12 incisors and her bottom canines were pulled. With a new smile, this girl has white sparkle to catch anyone's eye. This girl also adores food, but her dental extractions were no worry. She enjoyed her soft food and veggies for a couple of weeks and is now really enjoying her kibble again! Pumpkin arrived 10+ pounds overweight but after a decent diet, she is at a healthy weight!

 

Pumpkin enjoys playing with her foster parents and human sister but enjoys a good cuddle fest on the couch. She has been working on basic commands such as sit, wait, look, and lay down and learned them pretty quickly. Pumpkin doesn't mind kennel time, although she would prefer the company of her humans after spending months in a cold shelter. 

 

Pumpkin really enjoys being around other dogs. She was often used for dog testing at the shelter because of her easygoing personality. She enjoys playing with her foster canine sisters and SEPR Marshmallow but removes herself when ready to disengage and relax. 

 

Pumpkin is loving home life and enjoying being around her foster family, but she cannot wait to have a loving family of her own! Do not wait for the sweet delight; dogs like this only come around once in a lifetime. Easygoing and aged to perfection, anyone would be lucky to have her as their own.
