I’m Sage! I can from the same group as Sugar and Spice, but foster mom says “Everything Nice” is too long of a dog name. And that’s how I became Sage! I’m a little shy around new things and people, but my curiosity and love of all people usually overcomes my shyness almost instantly. I love to give wiggles and tail wags. Sometimes I jump up, but it’s gentle and I’m working on keeping four on the floor with visitors. I just can’t help myself!

I love, and I mean LOVE, to chew, so chew toys are a must. Although I prefer toilet paper, foster mom says “NO WAY”. I’m working on this too. Foster mom said I’m like an adult puppy, whatever that means. She also tells me a such a good boy all the time! I love hearing that. I’m a great sleeper in and out of my crate. I don’t make a peep once I am in my crate, although, sometimes you have to give me a treat to go in. I know how to get the goods! I love cuddling and nap time is the best time for that. If you need a heating blanket, I’m in. I don’t have accidents in the house, because I’m a gentleman (remember, Everything Nice? Yep, that’s me).

I usually don’t bark, but sometimes I get so excited to play with my foster siblings that I can’t help myself.

I’m getting better at that too! Learning how to relax with so many exciting new things and dogs to play with can be exhausting, so sometimes I give in to foster mom when she tells me to settle down. I do have to be honest though, cats are not really my thing. I’m as sweet as they come, but those furry little creatures rub me the wrong way and I think I need to take care of them (foster mom keeps telling me I don’t). Sometimes I think foster mom just wants to ruin all my fun, but I’m really good at making my own fun. I can play with anything and anyone.

 

I love the kids in my house, because they like to run around and be crazy with me! I’m working on my leash manners and general commands. I’m a quick learner and will do anything for a good treat. By the way, any treat is a good treat!

I may be small, but I’m spunky and oh so loveable! If you and your family are looking for a super awesome dog that can be won over with some toilet paper, you found me!
