Sriracha, a spicy chili sauce with a hint of sweetness, is finding its way to kitchen cupboards worldwide. SEPR Sriracha is one hot tamale. Found in the middle of nowhere under an abandoned home caring for her pups, this girl has shown resilience in caring for herself. We are making quick friends and proving humans are more than just whizzing by cars on the road to be cautious of. ​Sriracha quickly settled into life in South Dakota.

 

This girl has a bold personality, and although she can act very loud and boisterous, we had initially seen an unsure pup underneath the facade. She is quick to show gratification and affection, but life obviously has not always come easy for this beautiful girl. ​

 

We took socializing slow since Sriracha was undergoing heartworm treatment upon her arrival. Now, with a clean bill of health, we are full speed ahead with fun and making new friends appropriately. Sriracha loves daily adventures around the neighborhood, in the car, and in lower-key places. We let her take it all in and do not rush friendships, as trust takes time. As her confidence grows, we see a crazy spitfire of a child. Her entire body wiggles, and she will slightly "smile" when she sees "her people." ​

Sriracha still gravitates towards woman, but has some of her favorite "boy toy" friends as well. Through the years in SEPR's foster program, while she loves human affection, we have seen her circle of friends is best to be kept smaller. A home without a lot of traffic coming and going will be a must. Sorry, this girl likely isn't cut out for camping either - just too much overstimulating things happening! 

 

Sriracha has done well integrating with the resident canines and feline. However, she does NOT like to share her toys, so if she is to succeed with another canine companion, he will need to be laid back, and supervision will need to be vigilant.

 

This girl has so many unique quirks and "make you laugh" hard moments. She will not be for a first-time pushover owner though. Sriracha is brilliant and a limit tester - which means a solid working job and some tremendously structured adventures will lead this girl straight to success.

 

With a personality as great as her looks, we look forward to finding her the perfect match. ​Spicy, sweet, and sassy, we cannot wait to see the layers of flavor unfold with this one!
