about "The seven dwarfs" 

     Meet The Seven Dwarfs!  Snow White and her seven wiggly puppies arrived just days before Thanksgiving.  The Seven Dwarfs are thought to be around 10-11 weeks old and are in search of their forever homes.  The Seven Dwarfs includes: Dopey (M - yellow), Sleepy (F - light purple), Bashful (F - pink), Sneezy (ADOPTED), Grumpy (ADOPTED), Doc (ADOPTED), and Happy (ADOPTED).

     While they are spending their time in rescue, The Seven Dwarfs are going to be learning all about this new world of theirs.  They will be meeting lots of different people, have lots of different experiences, and do their best to become great breed ambassadors in their forever homes.  The pups have a lot to learn, though!  They will be working through the Puppy Culture protocols, which is a program that starts with our fosters and volunteers helping set the puppies up for success in their future families! 

     While these pups are learning all their can to be outstanding family members, their future families also need to understand the responsibility they have to continue our work.  The learning doesn't stop at 8 weeks old.  You can learn more about why the first 12 weeks of a puppy's life is so important by watching this Puppy Culture video. In fact, a puppy's education lasts for years.  All Seven Dwarf adopters will need to understand the amount of work and responsibility that is involved with bringing a baby puppy home. 

Reminder: puppies are like new born babies! A LOT of work and even when “raised right” we give no guarantees to who their individual personalities will develop into as adults. We are looking for families who clearly understand this and willing to “wow” us with their canine leadership and knowledge. Love will need to be guaranteed for LIFE, not just when they are small, cute, and cuddly.

**Families with children 5 years of age and under wanting to adopt puppies will be reviewed on a

case-by-case basis. Raising a puppy properly takes a lot of time, and we understand that in families with small children, time can be a limited commodity.
