“Baby Shark Doo doo doo doo doo doo”
Hey y’all! My name is Walle and I was named affectionally after I was found at Wal-Mart! I was all alone, trying to do some shop lifting…..ahem…I mean shopping. I am a GOOD PUP! I would never steal anything…especially my FM coffee. That would be naughty. The pupper doc said I am on the young side, about 2 years old. My teeth are FABULOUS. Seriously, you are gonna be jealous of how white they are. I am a healthy, goofy, non-felon pup. Paws crossed.
I am brand new to South Dakota and let me tell you I am having the time of my life! There are pup cups! There are small humans that are just my size! There are these really comfy things called couches! The wonders NEVER CEASE!
If I sound excited it is because I am. When I got here I was very confuddled. First, I was invited IN A HOUSE! Then I learned what a couch was! I thought my foster dad was setting me up for some prank when he kept trying to get me to jump on one but when he picked me up and my booty got its’ first taste of cushion…oooohhhh boy. Couch dog for life! Then there are stairs, dog beds, tons of treats, & TOYS!?! My foster parents taught me how much fun fetch and tug are! Unfortunately, I am learning that my baby human foster brother is NOT a toy. Just because he is close to my size does not mean he wants to wrestle. Rude I say.
Since coming to my foster home I am also in school! I am being puppy home schooled & I got to go to a few professional training sessions! My foster parents were surprised when I got here I didn’t understand sit, lay down, look, stay, leave it, or come. I thought they were playing word games but APPARENTLY those are things they wanted me to DO. Who knew? Well, now I know that if I do what those words mean I get snackies and I LIVE for snackies. Big snacks. Small snacks. All snackie snacks. I may have a snackie problem. That is why the pupper doc said I should lose a couple of pounds and I had to learn to eat veggies with my dinner. What does he know anyway? To sum it up, I am very snack motivated. You want me to learn anything – bring a snack I will be your best student. My sit is EXCELLENT now by the way 😊.
Right now I spend a good portion of my day in my kennel or on tie down. I get blankets, chews, TV, and a great view of the backyard. My foster parents really need some trees so I can see more squirrels and bunnies. I may whine a little bit when I go into my kennel but I do quiet down pretty quick. I just get sad that I am away from the action. Since coming to my foster home I have kept my kennel clean – not one accident! During the first couple of weeks I did have a few accidents inside the house but it turned out my tummy did not appreciate the meal times so once we changed up my schedule a little I stopped having accidents. Which is really good because that shade of red did NOT look good on my FMs face. I tried to tell her it was me love sprinkling the house but that did not make her feel better.
What else can I say? I am a fun loving puppy who is at the end of their puppyish stage. I love cuddles. I love movie time. I love play time. I love walks, hiking, running, & I love stuffies. If you have a favorite stuffie and I come to your house you may need to hide it or I may uhm…apprehend it for your safety. I am no delinquent but I am just learning my boundaries like any good pup needs to do. If we wrestle I may get a little mouthy because if I love what we are doing why wouldn’t it go into my mouth? I am super gentle with anything I chew on...except the stuffies. Due to that my foster parents think my forever family should have older kids if any. Not super old as long as we keep working on my boundaries, but closer to 7 and up. I also am extremely friendly to dogs and cats. I know that with enough stalking and harassing they will all agree that we were meant to be best friends. Just ask my 15 year old small foster pup sister! She may find my enthusiasm to be her friend a little annoying today, but she is coming around. Slowly. If I am cuddly she loves me. When I try to get her to match my puppy greatness she growls at me. With total affection. Promise.
So now I want to ask YOU a few questions. Are you in the market for a younger dog that you can spend a life with? One who will learn and grow with you? A pupper who is still young & ready to be molded into the perfect fur member for your family? Do you enjoy walkies? Hikes? Movie nights? Snacks? Occasional thievery? Will you support my stuffie obsession?
Did I mention my looks? Not to sound vain (Yes I do) but I am GORGEOUS. People stop and stare at me when I am out and about. Do you need a wing man? I got you. Any human next to me immediately becomes a solid 10. Once I show off my goofy personality the humans become a 20 by association. I do it all without giving many kisses too. I am just that cool. See – I am your soul doggie so what are you waiting for? Come and MEET ME.
